Jews have *always* been targets of violence in the levant.

Pogroms against Jews in British Mandatory Palestine, or under the Ottomans were commonplace. They looked a lot like this attack by Hamas.

During WWI alone, the Ottoman deportation reduced the Jewish population by nearly 40%. Tens of thousands were forced to leave their homes, and thousands were killed.

The idea that any of this is “resistance” is sheer ignorance.
