Now we all know that there are many superbugs which are resistant to all the antibiotics. This situation arose out of disproportionate use of antibiotics and the lack of new drugs. There is yet an antibiotic to be discovered since 80's. This might seem an ordinary problem to us but it has the potential to destroy the human race if something is not done immediately. Lack of new antibiotics will ultimately lead to more and more abuse of antibiotics which will lead to more potential super bugs. So we should divert more resources toward research of new antibiotics.
