Hey…I’ve got a good idea, since we’re all unable to decide the boundaries of our own actions, why not select somebody who will be in charge? You know…like a ‘pretend’ father or mother; someone who will love and protect us. In this way, we’ll be free from the burden of trying to figure all this shit out for ourselves.
We’ll choose somebody who is a lot smarter; someone who knows what we all prefer without even having to ask…Oh man, this would be so great. I love pleasing authority figures; I’ll be so happy to follow their demands. It’ll be just like wanting to please mom and dad when I was a kid…
Of course they’ll want to get paid for being put in control. We can let them pick their own salary based on what they feel they’re worth, and charge us accordingly. They can kind of like…tax us or something…If anybody breaks the rules they set, or doesn’t pay the tax, they can be punished in some way. Maybe the guy in charge can form a group of people to carry out the punishment, so that he doesn’t have to take unnecessary risks of personal injury; in case the rule breaker attempts to resist being cuffed and dragged off to jail.
Isn’t this a great idea? As a matter of fact, I’ll volunteer to be your master. I’ll pay myself no more than I deem fit, but I’ll also need an expense account, medical insurance, a car, an office, a 401k account and things like that…Whatever I need, I’ll just let you know I’m taking it after you put me in charge. Oh…you’ll have to pay me a retirement benefit as well, should at any time in the future, I turn the reigns over to someone else; like my brother or perhaps a sibling…I don’t know…whatever…
You can call me the King, Boss, Leader, God, Overlord, President, Legislator...whatever; I don't care. You're gonna love it...I promise. Huh? Wadda ya dink? Huh...Huh...???

Amazing idea. Why hasn't anyone thought of this before? You should run with it. I bet you could convince a lot of people this is a good idea.

Could we then call you the "DADDY" or is that asking a bit much?
Thanks for the morning chuckle.

Call me 'daddy' or 'mommy' if you prefer...long as I get my tax payments, I won't complain.
