Ants Reloaded is the first fully decentralized and transparent payment system for gaming consoles managed by an Ethereum smart contract. We are developing the first cryptocurrrency wallet that can be embedded on any game console such as Xbox, Playstation or Nintendo.
PROBLEM
For the moment you can pay only with a credit card or a Paypal account. That means expensive and long payment process. There are 16 different steps to settle the transaction and up to 15 different fees to pay for payment gateways. Transaction fees range from 2% + 0.1 to 6% + 0.7. Chargeback fees of USD 15.
SOLUTION
So we have decided to build the first cryptocurrency wallet specially designed for gaming consoles. This wallet will have a proprietary payment gateway that allows gamers to use Ants Reloaded to buy games, movies, or subscriptions. Our wallet will work only with Ants Reloaded (ANTS).
IDEA
The idea to create a wallet to operate with our coin occurred when we realized that only a credit card or a Paypal account can be used to buy products on gaming consoles. This would not be a problem in itself if the payments did not take long, as well as a series of steps to follow. So, we have decided to build the first cryptocurrency wallet specially designed for gaming consoles. This wallet will have a proprietary payment gateway that allows gamers to use Ants Reloaded to buy ingame content. Our wallet will work only with Ants Reloaded (ANTS).
Gaming market
The value of the global video games market in 2017 is 78.61 (in billion U.S. dollars) and is projected to increase to USD 90.07 billion by 2020. With a $78.61 billion market, acquiring just a fraction of market penetration results in large revenues: 0.1% market share alone is $78 million a year. But the gaming industry is facing some problems nowadays: Expensive and long payment process: There are 16 different steps to settle the transaction and up to 15 different fees to pay for payment gateways. In order to pay with your smartphone, Ants reloaded will provide two types of wallets: one for android and one for IOS.
PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION
The primary goal of ANTS is to change the way gaming industry operates by utilizing programmable logic of smart contracts, immutability of blockchain ledger and high speed of transactions that blockchain technology enables. Before ERC20, every ICO token (implemented as an Ethereum “smart contract”) re-invented the wheel by implementing their own versions of these basic functions. They would have their own function for
transferring tokens, with its own unique name and perhaps different arguments. If a developer wanted to enable trading between Token A and Token B, he or she would need to study the intricacies of each contract to allow the trade. If there were tokens A through Z, and each token implemented transferring tokens differently, then to implement a basic token exchange that could handle every token contract would require an exponential amount of complexity. ERC20 compliant tokens all have the same functions, with the same names, that take the same arguments. You can create a token exchange system that allows you to quickly add new tokens to your platform the moment they are released, as long as they follow the ERC20 standard. No matter how many different tokens there are, the same system can support trading between Token A and B, A and C, A and Z, Z and M, etc. The end result is less risk, more uniformity, reduced complexity, and enhanced liquidity of tokens. A successful ICO can have their ERC20 tokens trading on exchanges without any communication between themselves and the exchange developers. ERC20 has encouraged a positive feedback loop, as token purchasers can be more certain that they can trade new ICO tokens, leading them to purchase more ICO tokens causing more ICO’s to be created, and ultimately more innovation and value in the Ethereum blockchain.

Microsoft’s Xbox Live platform continues to add more users as the company expands its gaming business across consoles and PC devices. Gaming under Microsoft is still growing. The company saw a surge in spending on games, and more consumers are shifting to purchasing their software on digital storefronts.

The new system, while likely to draw a lot more attention to indie games on Xbox One, isn't just for game development. Because apps doesn't need content approval and the ratings are automated, the process to create a universal app that will work on consoles and computers will be slightly easier. Current payment process
The process is complex and includes 8 additional steps to settle the transaction. In addition to the chargeback fee, there is work to be done by the retailer to prove the transaction was done respecting the rules. This costs time and money. When the info is missing, the charge is reversed even if it was legit. As there are a lot of different parties involved in moving the money from one bank account to another (or from one country to another), it often takes up 3 days to settle the transaction.For international payments, it can take up to a week or even more. Moreover, payment gateways more often than not hold your money for a week.
Wallet for Nintendo
The Nintendo eShop is a digital distibution service powered by the Nintendo Network for the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U and by a dedicated online infrastructure for Nintendo Switch. It is the successor to both the Wii Shop Channel and DSi Shop. The Nintendo eShop features downloadable games, demos, applications, streaming videos, consumer rating feedback, and other information on upcoming film and game releases. Unlike the Wii Shop Channel and the DSi Shop services, which use Nintendo Points for purchases, the Nintendo eShop lists pricing in the appropriate regional currencies, such as dollars and euros. Accounts can be funded using either credit cards or prepaid cards purchased in stores for the moment. Ants Reloaded will provide gamers a smart wallet client that can greatly enhance user experience for buying and selling in-game items on every game console presented. Game developers will benefit from using ANTS by getting an access to a new efficient and secure way of receiving payments from gamers and significantly reduced customer acquisition cost. We are planning to launch three types of wallets, one for every game console presented. First of all we will concentrate our attention on the Xbox wallet and this will be happening in 2018. Secondly, we will launch the wallet for PS4 and mobile payments. Finally in 2019 we are planning to launch the Nintendo wallet. In these three markets there are approximately 620 million users.
