Brazilian winger Malcom said that he wanted to be named in Rome, but eventually he wanted to join the Catalan club.
According to media reports, Roma reached an agreement with French club Bordo to pull out 4 million Euro transfer bucks Malcom. Barcelona, however, snatched the 21-year-old player of 4 million million euro transfer bucks.
In the pre-season tour Barcelona now in the United States Malcom has officially appeared for La Liga champions in Portland on Thursday.
The attacker said, "I always wanted to go to Barcelona."
