3 years ago, at least I think it was 3 years, I was diagnosed with a severe case of G.A.D (Generalized Anxiety Disorder). Ever since that day 3 years ago, my life has seemed to have fallen in a direct path straight into Hell itself. It happened so randomly that both I, and my family did not understand what was going on. I was having what most people would call panic attacks almost 6 times daily, without treatment. I was scared of my own shadow, and it eventually led to me dropping out of Highschool. During the summer after I had dropped out, I was assigned a Behavior Health Professional, who helped me a lot, and I started school again. After he had left, it started over, but this time worse. It was like a swift kick to the face like Anxiety was getting its revenge. I tried medications and nothing really worked. Today, I suffer from Agoraphobia which was caused by my Anxiety, and I am not able to leave my house yet. I am working on getting new professional services to help me get back to a normal state of mind. Anyway, the main part of this little blog was to explain how Anxiety actually feels and what it is truly like, so let's just imagine it for a second. A bear is suddenly smashing through your windows ready to sink its teeth into your skin, you would be sweating, screaming, feeling sick to your stomach, possibly even vomiting, because you are scared. Now imagine, all those feeling's happening 24-7 WITHOUT anything to be scared of. That is what Anxiety is. Anyone who suffers should not be ignored no matter how big or how small a case of Anxiety because it gets worse before it gets better. Thank you -Cyanx

I wish steemit was less centralized so voices like yours could be heard more cyanx. You are not alone. I can't say those mental disabilities get easier, but with time we all find mechanisms to deal with the bad feelings. I personally found solace with cannabis, but that's a road many people still fear to tread on.
I upvoted, resteemed and started following you. Hope you make progress and maybe one day get to feel somewhat normal.
