The Anxiety Toolkit

Following on from my “Taking the Agony out of Anxiety” blog I have decided to compile a “homeopathy anxiety took kit!”

It’s important to remember that homeopathy is unique to the individual person, each remedy has its own specific remedy picture which includes mental, emotional and physical symptoms, along with a range of specific characteristics.

As homeopaths we talk about chronic and acute cases.  It is important to establish the difference between these as part of the basics of homeopathy.

Acute conditions can come on quickly and are self-limiting, anything from days to weeks, end result being full recovery. Life can confront us with a particularly short lived stressful periods.   I have had great feedback from patients who just needed that little bit of help from remedies that have enabled them “walk through” particularly tricky times, that otherwise would of left them crippled by their anxiety.

Chronic conditions have persisted over a long periods of time, with symptoms that may not be as severe as an acute, but having a greater impact on life and well-being, getting worse over time.  Many feel that their anxiety has them firmly in its “grip”, impacting on their day-to-day life and well-being, whatever the cause.  As a homeopath I would be recommending booking in for a consultation as this requires a different approach to acute prescribing.

With this in mind, the following overview of remedies is meant to offer support on the short term.  If you feel that you have been trying to manage your anxiety on the long term, then maybe it’s time to invest in your health and well-being and embark on a journey with homeopathy.

I’ve endeavored to capture the the essence of the individual remedies in relation to anxiety, Highlighting their keynotes and specific modalities, helping to differentiate between them.
