This poor self-absorbed woman is off her damn rocker. What cannot be an act of resistance, using her criteria? Marxism is such a flexible religion that now even getting your nails done can be some consecrating act of reclamation, comrade. All can be for the glory of the revolution in which even empty gestures have value if the feels are correct.
In reality, she's just pushing a worldview that sees every single act or thought as a political struggle. All these little things add up to a huge usurpation of power. No longer is anything outside the sphere of politics, nothing is protected from the reach of or immune to politics, so now everything, no matter how perfunctory, falls under the power of politics.
It's all very creepy, but hilarious too. I sure hope she keeps posting video of herself being her nutty ol' termagant self. The problem is that her minions are alienated, resentful people who also wish also to give meaning to their meaningless lives and are eager to use almost any cheap and easy stunt as a pretense to parade their great-souled selves on the stage of public opinion in order to feel solidarity with their imagined group and use marching orders.
And what's with this hand-gesture? It's so hostile and assertive, and yet the way she uses it so odd. I cannot tell if she's using it as a way of casting a spell, like a Jedi mind trick, or if it's a kind of Freudian slip, a tell, which reveals is she overcompensating as a preemptive response to resistance she already imagines she'll face for the crazy bullshit she is about to spew
