Trafodion a project by Apache Software Foundation is now a top level procjct on apache foundation.

Apache Trafodion provides fast acces to Hadoop using SQL by enabling transactional or operational workloads

Trafodion provides SQL access to structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data allowing you to run operational, historical, and analytical workloads on a single platform.

It supports ANSI SQL language and JDBC and ODBC connectivity for windows and linux
