The faith of the apostle Paul: It is concerning the resurrection of the dead that I am on trial before you today. Acts 24:21

Saul, who was a Jew with Roman citizenship, after having a heavenly vision of Jesus in his trip towards the city of Damascus, received the Holy Spirit in the sacrament of baptism and thus changed his name to Paul, years later this spiritual witness of the Lord was known also known as the apostle of the Gentiles. Paul was the most important preacher and theological thinker of the first century after Christ and his doctrine reaches us today through his famous epistles.
Paul, with his three missionary journeys, brought the doctrine of the Kingdom of God to the Greek world, and in his last days, the Book of Acts relates that he also preached in the city of Rome, the capital of the empire, to the first Christians of that Church; the Book of Acts says nothing about the death of the apostle nor about the death of Peter, on this issue the book is conspicuously silent, what the book does do is highlight the notable leadership of the apostle of the Gentiles.
But the Book of Acts relates that he did not achieve all this without first going through great suffering and danger, deception and oppression were the order of the day, and the High Priest was one of their fiercest enemies. And the Book of Acts relates that Paul at the end of his third missionary journey was imprisoned for causing a serious disturbance in the temple of Jerusalem. This was perhaps the most serious event that occurred in the life of the apostle and where he saw his life in danger more closely.
It was at the time of his arrest that the apostle Paul had to bear witness to his faith in Jesus with greater determination, and when Governor Felix questioned him to meet him personally, Paul explained the hope that motivated him in a few words: "It is concerning the resurrection of the dead that I am on trial before you today" Acts 24:21. Paul never let himself be overcome by fear and was taken at his request to Rome to be judged by the emperor and thus avoided falling into the hands of the High Priest. Paul was the living testimony of a faith that changed the world, and that is an example for every Christian who wants to live as a citizen of the Kingdom of God, the dominion or empire of the divine excellencies.
