The Almighty God is a decerner of the intents of the heart. Samuel was sent to anoint a king for Isreal from the house of Jesse. It's humanly understood that immediately the prophet saw Eliab the first son,he assumed he's the right one by virtue of his physical built up, but God stopped him. Brethren, in life, it's natural to assumed the will of God by what appeals to the physical eyes, but the most important thing is the heart, because God sees the heart.God does not look at how busy or aggressive we are in the physical, but how committed we are in our hearts. Thus serving God is a heart thing, rather than a display of physical abilities.
Are you trying to choose your life partner, business partner, friends or associates by physical assessment of their achievements? Let God direct you, for a man's life consisted not on the abundance of the things he possess. Human assumptions brings disappointments. We must come to the point of letting go what we have in mind and allowing the thoughts of God to manifest in our daily lives. Don't try to box God into your will. Don't try to get God to agree on your choice, let Him choose, for His choice is the best because He sees the heart of everyone and the future of every events. Man is limited to the physical until God reveals the deep things of life to him. Let the Holy Spirit direct you today, lean not on your own understanding.
