Hey there kitty 💖. I agree with you here. I myself post a lot of appics and actifit content and I try to put in as much content (writing) as possible. I also agree with what you said about normal posts being under 200 characters unless it’s a short poem or free write then should you expect to make lots for a short post. I agree with you here. Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

    If Steem(it) has to improve we have to start with some basic rules how and what to post to have at least a good read. There are always exceptions. Who joined knew what was asked,good, original content which one line or link is not.
    We will see what and if Steemit changes if it all works again.
