They keep telling me there is nothing they can do. It’s Free speech, it’s decentralized . It’s the beautiful Blockchain.... if they think what that guy is doing is Free speech then there is a serious problem with the whole concept of decentralization and Blockchain.....

You are both right, it is decentralized and free speech but has major issues... thing is online is hard to hold people accountable for their actions... so we see bad actors like we are 🤦♂️ That’s just speaking of his behaviour towards others like yourself and language.
The issue I see is that decentralization means no centre of control, hard to make things happen quickly without it. Such is the reason why the smoke blockchain went down for so long the last time.
As we sit we are now waiting on the smoke.io team to solve the issues of the attack... there are definite flaws to the system but that is also part of a decentralized platform which are all problems STEEM has had to address already... why smoke is so slow to pickup on the changes I am not a developer and do not know the answer to but would like to know 🤔
