This particular Sumatra Mandheling is not nearly as green in initial aroma and flavor as I expect and prefer from wet-hulled coffees, but this clean-cup, low-acid, medium roast has a lovely aftertaste of lingering dark chocolate and mild green pepper. Closing Notes:

Because I drink a lot of coffee and I have a relative sensitivity to caffeine, sometimes I will blend the beans I prepare in my regular coffee maker with a decaf Columbia medium roast from Amazon...both to extend the life of my good beans, and so I can drink more of it. I honestly prefer the taste of this particular coffee blended with the Columbia to its individual taste.
