... of one's child and thus to place oneself at the service of life in its greatest and most beautiful aspects.
Here is a text by Joseph Kentenich that speaks to me a lot:
"If parents do not bow with profound respect before the greatness of the child, if in their vocabulary, "child" and "majesty" are not synonymous, if parents, in taking their child in their arms, do not raise in their arms the destiny of the future and the destiny of the world, they deserve to be neither parents nor educators. But if, on the other hand, they do, then they will know that they cannot impose their own questionable laws and opinions on their children in the same way that one cannot impose their orbit on the stars. »
In our western society, many parents do not think before making children. They do it because everybody does it and it is a necessary step, and then, when they are there, they leave their education in the hands of strangers.
Becoming a mother, for me, means accepting this sacred mission. To become my child's educator by putting all my strength, all my energy at the service of life, of her life, in a disinterested way.
And to make of my child, this human being in gestation, in maturation, in progress, what it deserves to be: a king.
Do you also have children? How do you manage their education?
I am so happy to read this! I have 3 children who are adults now. I homebirthed, breastfed for a long time, and homeschooled. I feel very sad for the many children whose parents are hardly ever present for them.

That's when women have such thoughts in their heads, they will consider themselves the coolest in the world, regardless of other professions, underestimating their husbands and parents. Why make motherhood a cult when it is the norm? If you gave birth on your own without an epidural anesthesia, does that mean you are better than someone who had a cesarean? Let's feel free to post such thoughts here https://mother.com and discuss them among women mothers. I don't understand why motherhood is elevated to some incomprehensible epicenter of all humanity. What about fathers, generations, traditions. Just because a woman gives birth to a child, it does not mean she is a mother and has the right to raise the child. You have to be a morally mature person.
