Vet visit

I hoped one of the vets would come into our area for the rabies vaccination.

He does this every summer at several places in the country side.
It is great if you have no car, more as one dog or you cannot get them into the car.
The vet has a great and fast way of doing it. He just passes by and hoppa injection in the dog and before the dog knows he is gone.

His two assistants sit in the car and sign the papers and register the chip numbers. People wait in a row. After you paid you to go to the trunk where the vet waits, gives you the deworming tablets, asks for your dog(s) to vaccinate them and off you go.

Last Friday I noticed his announcement on the bulletin board. He has already been here May 11th! 😞Usually, it is the 3rd week of June so now I have to drag 4 nervous wolves, one by one, in my car to the vet.

This morning I started with Xiâo-Aine.
She is the only one I can still lift into the car and who is not drooling and vomiting none stop.
I was there at 7:30 am and still not the first (the vet starts at 8 am).
The girl got more and more nervous about all the cars driving by, more people came and waited, more dogs... She started to shake like nuts.
Once inside the hall waiting she kind of calmed down although it smelled terrible. The first customer petted her for a while and spoke to her and I think that lady really helped her.

I was happy she did not hate the vet.
Pfff. Shot in the ass, lot of paperwork and I asked him if he has some tablets to calm down the beasts.
He said if I would hold them he would come to my place, this afternoon or tomorrow.
I can tell you that is a relief for sure. Now I just need to catch them (or feed them) and they won't scare him out of their territory.
