I dont have an Iphone but i use to always have issues when I did. thanks for the information and sorry about you losing your job. It snot right how some companies take advantage of people. im sure your next postion will be a great one.

Hey Thanks! I appreciate that! It really is! I guess I wrote this to help people see the truth about what really goes on... idk they're placed on such a pedestal and in reality they are just like ANY other company! #ThanksBillions ThinkBillions ;-) lol

It's incredible how large of a role marketing and propaganda play in corporations such as Apple. They intentionally promote their engineers and obviously Steve Jobs as unstoppable icons, whereas in reality they are people like you and me, but restricted by tightly held internal regulations and processes.

In some cases I can see how it works, but it sheds an unrealistic expectation for most products and situations.

Wow! Amazing! I love that! Beautiful Insight! And So True!!!

Very interesting

Hey Thanks! I'm happy you think so!

Thank you @allthingsjoe. Excellent review. I have been an eBay seller for some time and have noticed their own market domination lead to similar customer service practices.

I have heard (but cannot confirm), that Ebay will quietly open a cutomer servie hotlines (required by law in most countires), deliberately make it diffcult to get through to (requiring pin numbers and lengthy options menus), and then have a similar process of "escalation" which makes it virtually impossible to get anywhere. All this to cut down the cost of providing customer service. (no disrespect intended to your previous position. I'm sure you did the best you could with the tools the company were giving you).

I spent 2 years in Sri Lanka setting up a call centre for an Aussie company. We opened 24x7, had an average wait time of less than 60 seconds, and ALL customer complaints and recommendations were escalated to be reviewed (many of which were presented to the board at weekly meetings). Customer input is GOLD, it would do the big guys well to remember that. Upvoted and Resteemed for greater community awareness.

No disrespect taken @Beachbuminvestor I think it's just sad what these tech companies are doing. I mean.. You're right! They are! they make it intentionally difficult Apple actually introduced a self service app to "Allow" Customers to service their own issues... Reality is they're just preparing for the future downsizing of human support to electronic/app based support (But right now they're letting employees think that its for their benefit). Also rumor has it that they will soon make all repairs and in store (same day swaps) go away and all repairs will be through the mail... How does that help the customer? like i said Apple is dead... smh Thanks for your comment !

It's a shame that Steve Jobs has passed away. I still remember the good old days back when Apple has just released the revolutionary iPod. Right now, Apple is just "reinventing" their own products. Not to mention forcing their own product users to keep on buying overpriced cables just to be able to charge their devices.

But I would still like to say that comparing with the products made by HuaWei or Xiaomi, I would still rather use Apple's or Google's products due to the fact that this Chinese brands are blatantly copying Apple's iPhone design. Not to mention that the whole ecosystem that Apple provides when you are using their products.

IT's because they have no visionary, there are a ton of managers though...But yeah I can understand that as far as huawei & Xiaomi go.. Admittedly though, I do like the aesthetics of their devices. the nuanced differences are enough to quench an innovation thirst lol... But as far as the ecosystem be careful about the cloud...It's been breaking lately. For some reason the it keeps deleting peoples data.. Contacts and such.. idk why though.
