The technology is still at an early stage!

Long stagnation with Apple's LCD technology may be over when the California company changes the course and for the first time decides to use an OLED display for its new iPhone X. The same technology has long been favored by Samsung and Google. While Apple often stays in the use of the same technology, the next generation of displays will be different from anything so far. The reason lies in the fact that the development of a new technology, which will combine the so-called microLED, is on the way. Although it sounds promising, it is still technically at a very early stage. OLED has won the attention of manufacturers with the ability to offer a much brighter picture. It also saves space. The biggest difference between the two technologies is the way the screen shines. OLED uses organic semiconductors, while microLED uses gallium nitrate. If Apple is able to integrate its technology with other manufacturers such as Samsung and Sony (working hard on the same), the new generation of phones will be more than perfect. MicroLED also delivers more than 30 times the brightness, as well as greater energy efficiency and color freshness. OLED technology is detrimental to the display and over time it loses its color sharpness and burns, microLED will have no problems.
