Apple Apologizes For Slowing Down Older iPhones
Just a few days ago we have seen the tech giant Apple admitted
that they purposely slowed down older iPhones with an iOS
update. This step is been taken just to improve the battery
health. However, the customers felt it hard to digest the
news.
Now the tech giant Apple has issued a lengthy letter of
apology to its loyal customers. The tech giant Apple posted
the apology letter on its website where it claims that there
has been some “misunderstanding about the issue”.
The latest statement from Apple says “We know that some of you
feel Apple has let you down. We apologize”. “Our goal has
always been to create products that our customers love, and
making iPhones last as long as possible is an important part
of that.”
Apple further explained how lithium-ion batteries really work
and how it degrades with time. The company will now issue an
update which will bring a new feature that will help users to
monitor the health of the battery in order to make
knowledgeable decisions.
The tech giant Apple has also made another big change, they
have slashed the original price of a battery to $29, the
original price was $79 – which is a massive $50 reduction. The
company also said that whenever an aged battery is replaced
with a new one, the performance of the device will return back
to normal.
It looks like Apple is trying to regain the user trust and
