My Journey So Far on Steemit

I was introduced to this great platform by a very great and wonderful steemian @Gbenga, he wanted every of his friend to join the platform.

I remember those times when I will always give excuses why I do not need to join Steemit, he went through the stress of downloading so many applications on my system because it is an old one using his subscription. He is someone with a large heart and he can give to the last.(Let me stop here because I could go on and on spending time to describe this rare gem).

When I joined, the reward was not attractive at all, I tried chatting with people who had high reputation and who made lots of money from their posts, I was advised to comment on the posts of great steemians but I realized that my comment was either ignored or just replied with yes or thanks while those with high reputation got the attention even without saying anything .

This triggered a post I wrote about the minnows being ignored but it was as if I wasn't making any sense at all.@Karenb543 replied and said it took her time to get to where she is presently so I need to keep working at it.

There were times my friends will advise me to stop wasting my subscription on Steemit since it was not paying off for me, but I had the courage to press on and I decided never to give up on it.

But, things started to change when the Nigerian tag came into existence, which was initiated by @donkeypong and @hanshotfirst to help the Nigerian community, he care fully selected this great Nigerians as curators: @Gbenga,@invofore @destiny said,@fisteganos,@onequality,@ehiboss,@ogoowinner who have been doing their work with consistence.

I also want to say thank you to @surpassinggoogle, @Maryfavor,@Illuminatus,@bat junior,@Steve1122,@eurogee @harbysco for their votes.

I am sure that so many Nigerians are grateful for the introduction of the Nigerian tag and to all those who have helped in one way or the other, I say a very big thank you.
