Evening all. I hope your day has been a top one.
Following on from my earlier post here's another with a refractography element. You'd be amazed at the varied shapes and colours which occur from a single piece of glass.
Here I framed my hands as if the were cupping some powerful energy source. I lit them from above with a beauty dish with orange gel and below with a flash plus a blue gel. I love blue and orange as I find the contrast of colours very appealing to the eye.
Next I change tripod and remove the lens so the refractograph can burn in. I gelled the refractograph orange so the lighting relationship is believable between the palms of my hands and the ball of light.
