My recent obsession with shooting circuit boards and combining them with other elements of lightpainting can lead to higher doses than usual of OCD!
For this shot I used two tripods and two lenses during the same exposure. Before I start shooting, first I used a fisheye lens on one tripod and lined up the model on the left hand third making sure I note the aperture and focus point on the lens. Then I transfer the camera to another tripod and change the lens to a macro lens and focus on the circuit board and practice the lighting with flashlights. The black part of the chip on the circuit remains unexposed meaning I can fill that part of the frame with more light. Once happy, I start by shooting the circuit board and place the lens cap on the lens without ending the exposure. Then, in complete darkness, I swap lenses to the fisheye lens making sure I've got the correct aperture and focus point dialled in. The camera is then transferred to the first tripod with the lens cap still in place. Once the model is ready and the smoke grenade has been ignited, I remove the lens cap and expose for the laser beams on the model for around 30 seconds. This all sounds complicated but it's fairly straightforward once you work out the elements for both parts of the shot!
This image was created in one photographic exposure and is not a Photoshop creation. The camera used was a Sony A7 full frame camera with a Samyang 12mm fisheye lens and a Nikon 60mm micro lens.
About me: I specialise in shooting lightpainting images all in one photographic exposure which involves different elements with different lenses and tripods.

Technically very strong, especially strong given the technique (thanks for sharing!). More importantly, it is a very dynamic and interesting image; Colors pop and lines are visually engaging.

Thank you, I enjoy the process of setting up these types of shot and even better when you have a model patient enough to wait for me to obsess over the technicals for what must feel like hours! 😀🔦
