Kitchen based lightpainting in the dark with an obliging alien:
For this shot I used two tripods and two lenses. For the first part I used an acquired image of an alien on an iPad and shot it using a camera rotation device. Once I'd got the alien rotation right, I replaced the lens cap without ending the exposure. I then transferred the camera to another tripod and changed the lens to point at a circuit board. I started by trying to lightpaint the circuit board in focus but the results looke better out of focus.
I've been calling these kinds of shots, "SOOK" as in straight outta the kitchen because they literally were created in my kitchen in one photographic exposure.
