A birthday is a day that is remembered by a person or an organization whereby they celebrate the anniversary of their birth because a notable event occurred on that date in a previous year.
Birthdays are celebrated in different cultures, often with gifts such as: cards, cake and a party.

Some religions celebrate the birth of their founders with special holidays e.g. Christmas, Salah and Buddha's Birthday.

In a Legal attribute, one becomes designated as an adult on a certain age usually (12 and 18), While Most countries set the age of majority between the age of (18 and 21) e.g Nigeria.
And reaching this specific age, milestones award particular rights and responsibilities. At this certain ages, one may qualified to leave full-time education or consent to sexual intercourse, without parental consent, to vote, to run for elected office, to legally purchase or consume hard drugs, alcohol, tobacco, or to obtain a driver's licence.
At these certain age of majority is the age when minors cease to be legally considered over their actions or decisions, by that means, terminating the legal control and legal responsibilities of their parents or guardians over them.

Some notables, particularly monarchs, have an official birthday on a fixed day of the year, which may not necessarily match the day of their birth, but on which celebrations are held. Examples are:
Jesus Christ's traditional birthday is celebrated as (Christmas Eve) or (Christmas Day) around the world, on December 25 respectively.
Similarly, the birthday of Prophet Muhammed the founder of Islam according to Islamic doctrine, which His birth is also celebrated around the world.
