In theory these regrabations were not going to be very extensive. But if they are already reconnecting the main characters is that they will change many things of the film. The good thing is that it has enough time until 'Aquaman' premieres in December.

First they presented the character in the Lex Luthor files of 'Batman v Superman: The Dawn of Justice'. Then he had a more important role in 'Justice League', now he will have his own movie. Since it will have to recover the kingdom of Atlantis before a war against the humans of the surface begins.

For now we know that you will have a lot of action and humor. As it will be closer to the style of 'Justice League' (2017) than to 'Batman v Superman' (2016). But this we will find out later in the year when it is released.
Hopefully soon we will be shown more material and we will be able to see the trailer of the movie. It will be released on December 28, 2018.
