Red stone

I seem to be posting more buildings recently... 🙂
I shot this the other day when I took a short walkabout downtown in old Kuala Lumpur
But I couldn't remember if this building was there before
Or now stands out because of the 'red' treatment given it recently
Anyway, it grabbed my attention when I was there and not just for the colour
It looked pretty well maintained and clean for this part of town, which seemed in keeping with the turning trend of the area
Kudos to the owners and people running it!
If this and the little yellow building I caught, can keep this up, downtown KL will soon be quite a pleasant place for walkabouts!

Red looks cool. I like that you are shooting your city. I get to experience it a bit this way :)

I liked the look of it there but I must say it came out even better in the shot!
If it wasn't so hot, I would like to shoot more soon - you ain't seen nothing yet... ;)
The Moorish designs of the old train station and the accompanying admin building come to mind... One day soon... :)

I don’t know what the color looked like before, but you’re right, the red does make it pop. I think it’s a cool looking building for a hotel. I like how the architecture of the balconies look. It also looks like there are a bunch of lights on the top of the roof. Cool photo! 🙂

Very observant... :) There's also a rooftop garden if you noticed the plants and garden lights there...
Thank you for dropping by...

I actually didn't even notice the rooftop garden lol. Thanks for pointing that out! :)

Haha... Since you seemed to notice some of the details, thought you'd like to know of the garden too! :)
