Would it be this dark all year round? I know the south gets dark pretty early but can you remember what time of year this was? (If I do the south as you recommended, I can definitely scratch Disney World off my list. O, but it wasn't even on it....Mysore definitely is!)

Hi, sorry for the late reply. This was about a month ago. I think its dark at seven all year around. You should definitely visit Mysore, it's a very small and relaxed city compared to a lot of the craziness in this country :-) The palace is amazing inside too, one of the nicest we have seen in India so far.
