The city of Bruges is much better than it's made out to be by Colin Farrell in the film "In Bruges," great film though. There's lovely streets to wander, Belgian waffles, and the famous Belgian beers. Although, it is a bit overrun with tourists. But be careful, there are hoards of swans and they do bite!
