(Travel Tip Thursday) Why the Alamo is not overrated

IMG_1268.jpg

Picture proof that if you have a passion for Photography, Architecture, or history you do not want to skip the Alamo Downtown San Antonio Texas, I have been to the Alamo multiple times and I have loved every trip because I LOVE Architectural History. The Alamo is a big part of Texas history and that is why they have preserved it for so long. I will say that taking the tour inside can be a little long and uneventful but walking around the Alamo grounds outside is really nice on good sunny days with the tree cover and beautiful landscaping it would be a great place to have a picnic.

According to http://texashillcountry.com/alamo-overrated-tourist-destination/ and from multiple friends The Alamo is said to be overrated, now a days people would rather skip the Alamo and head straight to the River walk and go shopping. I will admit the Alamo is not for everyone but if you love to learn about American history and you enjoy looking at amazing Architecture the Alamo is a great stop next time you are downtown San Antonio.!

A travel site called "Thrillist" says the Alamo isn't sensational enough for the editors' taste. That just says to me that there are many dullards in this world.

Keep promoting real culture and most people will see the intrinsic beauty in this world.
