On the outskirts of El Calafate lies the Glaciarium Museo del Hielo Patagónico. A really nice museum with a lot of interactive exhibits as well as an IceBar and a small tourist shop. There is a free, convenient and reliable shuttle service, departing every hour from El Calafate's Tourism Bureau. Well worth a visit.

Interesting architecture... the Gemini and graphic designer in me are somehow conflicted though... hehe As a designer, I can appreciate the "weighted balance" but as a Gemini, everything in me is screaming.... noooooo..... lol - like I just wanna grab one of those on the left and shove them to the right of the main! hehehehe
