In 2016 i visited Vienna together with Stefan, Brigitte and Annabelle for some architecturalphotography and animalphotography in the zoo. We really had a very nice weather on this weekend and the city was just beautiful. Because i hadn't been to vienna for a long time, it was something pretty special for me. The last years i visited vienna for several times but before 2016 i have only been in the city ocationally. On our trip we had some special photospots in mind. Karl's Church, the parlament, the Prater, the island in the danube with the danube tower, Vienna International Center and the Zoo, as well as the OMV Petrol Factory in Schwechat.
We arrived at the Parlament shortly after our dinner and unfortunately there where a lot of tourists and people in front of it during this beautiful day. So we had to do several longtime exposure shots to get rid of the people on the images. I nearly archived this goal but you can still see some "ghost" on the pictures.

Ja sieht ganz gut aus, ist irgendwie durch die Langzeitbelichtung so geworden. Anfangs hab ich mich geärgert weil es doch etwas unrealistisch aussieht durch die lange Belichtungszeit, und ein bisschen eine Farbverschiebung hab ich auch bei den Filtern die jetzt nicht unbedingt die besten waren zu diesem Zeitpunkt. Also mir gefällt die Farbverschiebung der Lee Filter besser als die der Hoya, aber das ist sicher auch Geschmackssache.

Ja eh, wie gesagt es ist Geschmackssache. Was ich aber auch nicht so gut finde bei den Schraubfiltern von Hoya ist dass ich bei kleinen Brennweiten unter 20mm durch die Runde Filterform eine kleine Vignettierung habe. Manchmal ist der Effekt ja auch gewünscht aber ich bin deshalb auf ein Steckfiltersystem umgestiegen, das ja noch einen weiteren Vorteil hat der mir vor allem bei Sonnenuntergängen oder Aufnahmen mit Meer und Horizont sehr hilft da ich zum Beispiel einen Verlauf genau dort hinschieben kann wo ich ihn haben will. Und Lee ist da einfach unschlagbar. Dafür hat es auch seinen Preis.

Thank you! Yes the light situation was pretty nice in this picture and also the filters altered the picture a bit because of the long exposure time. And the colors of the hoya filters are a bit different to my lee filters that are a bit "cooler" This is depending on the style you like weather you prefer the Hoya, Haida or the lee filters.
