in the Ticino area of Switzerland during a visit last year...

I just had to stop him so I could get this shot:

Dear @onceuponatime you are really lucky because you got the opportunity and take images at locations were few people can go.
I would like to tell you some advises (at least at architectural photography as photographer) You got a really good shot with nice neutral colors. The problem here is the lines. Because of you were at the bottom of the building, the top of it is making a triangle (Lige pyramid).
You sould if of course want make a few changes with photoshop and rearange the lines. This will make the photo more dynamic.

I took initiative to make few changes (hope you like it and not be mad with me)

That is a really great shot. Switzerland was always one of my favorite places to visit as a kid; even as a 10-12 year old I appreciated the scenic beauty of it.

I really need to start looking into all these photo contests and challenges...

Here's my holiday snap of an old cathedral in France (Simorre, Gers)

But my favourite isn't the dramatic tower, it's this one of a little tabby being overlooked by some leftover decorations from a children's festival that took place a few days before...

Nice photo. Europe is just full of awesome sites like this and it is also the reason why I prefer to cover these cities by foot. Otherwise I'll be stopping all the time. Here in South Africa we simply don't have building that old. ;)

I've been to Switzerland only briefly but loved it. I'm currently posting some of my photo's of Germany I took 10 years ago and your photo here was fairly relevant and similar.

this is really a superb shot. Deserves to be a favourite :) . The angle of the shot is awesome. The trees, the tower all seem to be reaching up, heavenwards, like an arrow. The shadowed corner creates a kind of sanctuary. And the sunlight above brings cheer to the sanctuary :) . Artistic shot that infuses the architecture with atmosphere, @onceuponatime :)

You know what, @kus-knee drove me around to so many places during my visit that I don't remember the location either. I have hundreds and hundreds of photos, enough to enter photo contests for years!

I will ask @kus-knee when I arrive there tomorrow.

It is kinda sweet how most people would put this photo into Italy - not realizing the Swiss Confederation borders with the cypresses in the south :-) Glad you made the old-dog @kus-knee stop for the photo! Cheers from the Seven Mountains in Germany

Switzerland has so many breathtaking views. You can tell from this picture that it is a very clear day. The sky is beauiful, not a cloud in the sky. Even the cleanliness of the building and how green and healthy the trees are gives the perception of Switzerland being a healthy place to live. Well, for one thing, I've spent 10 to 18 hours a day networking, curating, training, recruiting and promoting steemit for over 19 months straight. I also invested a large amount of money into the platform. I have taken many people who came here with an open attitude, and a work ethic, from zero to substantial incomes themselves.

Is it just a single picture on steemit or is it also the ten thousand hours I have put into the platform which makes my post valuable?

And, seriously, if you are going to be a mgtow, do it for philosophical reasons , not just because you lack balls.
