Chicago Architecture : 1 N Dearborn

1 N DEARBORN CHICAGO

For most of my architectural work (www.joshpabstphoto.com) I use the Canon 5D M III and the 17mm tilt shift. It's a great combination. Featured here is 1 N Dearbon in Chicago. DeStefano/Keating architects. I also photographed the lobby - perhaps save for another post. Cheers.

Striking image!
Where you shooting from street level?

Yes, the tilt shift gets a little wonky at the top - but yeah, near street level - I do have a 25' pole that gets me above the street items, like low trees, bins, trash, cars ect..

Wow, someone else that uses the word "wonky"! The 17mm is my dream lens, still using the old 24mm.

sell the 24mm ts-e and get the 17mm tse and the 1.4 extender -- then you'll have both for minimal up-investment.
