Contemporary housing in Poland

in architecture •  7 years ago

The architectural firm Beczak & Beczak Architekci is led by a team of three architects Magdalena Beczak, Maciej Beczak and Jarek Borowski.
The studio built this detached house in the city of Czarnów, Poland. The owners wanted a house open to the outside, while preserving their privacy. The architects made two blocks, one block facing south, which is dark and closed, and one block facing north, higher with lighter shades of gray. The openings are at the junction of these two modules.
The north wing measures 4.6 meters high and houses a living room and three of the bedrooms. The south part of the house houses a kitchen, bathrooms, a laundry room and a guest bedroom.
