House for a couple in Seoul South Korea

in architecture •  7 years ago

It is in the Yeonnam-dong district of Seoul that a couple working in fashion wanted to live. Both attracted by the many restaurants, small shops, designer studios and the large park where they could walk with their dog.

The ground being rather small, the architects imagined a house which develops on several floors. The outer shell is a mixture of concrete and ash, the interior has been thought of as a loft. The architects have created a kind of mezzanine where the different rooms remain connected to each other. On the top floor, the couple can enjoy a generous rooftop terrace, while an office has been placed on the ground floor with views of the street.
