House hanging on the edge of a river

in architecture •  7 years ago

Located in the village of Tenkawa, Japan, this resort home for a doctor and his wife, offers an incredible view and perspective on the Ten River.

This concrete birdhouse that seems to float in nature is a modern interpretation of fly fishing huts called "ayu".
The concrete spur without pillars is spectacular, it seems to come out of the rock and project towards the cliff.
