8-Bit Gaming With A Surprise

Surprises like this are so fun and exciting.

Recently I shared about Arduboy and how much fun my son has with his. If you didn't get to see that post, it's right here....https://steemit.com/arduboy/@ilovedietcoke/arduboy-take-2

Well, I wasn't counting on my 5 year old daughter to have so much fun with it. After a few days of constantly having to mediate so everyone got their fair share of Ardu-Time, I broke down and ordered another Arduboy. (Pro-Tip: Order different colors for different kids so there is no questioning whose is whose.)

Today the mail arrived with a package so I excitedly gathered the kiddos and kinda messed with them a little bit saying "naw, this isn't an Arduboy." All the whole I was thinking it was odd that this was in a package, rather than a box like the last one. I also thought it felt a little strange. As I opened it it became apparent that there was something extra in the package. The lovely folks at Arduboy had included a t-shirt! My kids freaked out. They both love it and both claimed it, although it's a little big for either of them. It may have to be PJs for the time being....but I'm thinking I may order a couple in their sizes as they loved them so much.

So many companies are so focused other costs and profits that doing little things like throwing a shirt in with an order would never be an iption, but it really shows how much this company cares about their customers and that they will go the extra mile for you. Thank you, Arduboy! You've got a customer for life!

Thank you. She is having a blast playing with it. She has a list of games that she wants (thank goodness they are all free!) and over the next few days, I am hoping to teach her how to flash games herself so she wont need her brother's (or mine) help. Who knows, maybe she'll grow up and have an amazing coding career....
