A small team of 3 guys decided to take upon themselves to make a door that would unlock using a fingerprint .
We wanted to do the lock mechanism from scratch and write the code the same way , everything we cloud we did from scratch .
The basic principle of the system would be that the user places a finger in the scanner , the scanner sends it to arduino mega that reads the eprom database to see if the fingerprint is valid , then the lcd has to say welcome user ( in this case valentino ) .
The lock itself has a 2 outputs that connect to the arduino and tell it if the bolt if out (locked ) or inside (unlocked) .
The door has a small button that clicks when door locks into the frame , effectively giving the arduino info if the lock should engage .

This was my first post on steem and i would like to do more in depth posts on this project but i actualy dont have any videos and detailed pictures so i would have to do that when i manage to snap them , but i would love to see some support for this kind of stuff :)
