(31.70) Seven Argentine detainees have been accused of fights with Croatian supporters
Police have arrested seven Argentine nationals for allegedly fights with Croatia supporters after a match between Argentina and Croatia on Thursday in the World Cup in Russia. According to the World Cup organizing committee, the British news agency Reuters reported.
World football's governing body FIFA said Friday before Friday that they were trying to identify Argentine supporters who were seen to fight in Argentina during the game between Argentina and Croatia on Novoghorod.
The World Cup organizing committee, in a written statement sent to Reuters, said that the information provided by the local organizing committee, seven Argentine nationals were detained in that case. He further said, according to local law the judiciary will take action against him.
The World Cup's runner-up Argentina defeated Croatia by 3-0 goals on Thursday.
