Black Death was one of the most devastating pandemics in human history, resulting in the deaths of an estimated 75 to 200 million people in Eurasia and peaking in Europe in the years 1346–1353. I read an article about an out break in Coconino & Navajo county, Arizona. I thought the black plague was a thing of the past!!! I guess not.
Hear are a few things you can do to prevent or reduce the possibility of infection.

Do not allow dogs or cats that roam free in endemic
areas to sleep on your bed.
2.Use repellent if you think you could be exposed to rodent fleas during activities such as camping, hiking, or working outdoors. Products containing DEET can be applied to the skin as well as clothing and products containing permethrin can be applied to clothing (always follow instructions on the label
3.Keep your animals flee free.
