The International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for President Vladimir Putin on Friday, March 17, 2023,

on charges of war crimes. Additionally, the court in The Hague charged the Russian president with criminal responsibility for the abduction and deportation of Ukrainian children. Human rights groups have applauded the move, but the probability of an immediate arrest seems low.
