IRIS aquarelle painting

Iris flowers are one of the best references for watercolour medium. For this one I used wet-in
-wet, dry on dry and some lifting watercolour techniques.

        Actually I am struggling a lot because it is a very difficult medium. This one is detailed and more botanical. Thank you Mr. Otto! It is nice to see you here! :)

          Nice to see you and your work. Aquarelle is the most difficult medium, because corrections are near impossible. Oil you can wipe off, acrylic you can paint over (or wipe down with alcohol).
          btw: Mr. was my dad, and he has passed on long ago - simply Otto is fine!
