A pencil native portait: the beauty of an old lifestyle
I was always fascinated by the native lifestyle. Better said, by some of theyr tribes. They had a kind of nature connected and wise view of life.
Sadly they we're treated in a wrong way, being locked in the reserves using brutal force, changing a lot of them lifstyle deeply.
Here's a portait I did some time ago with pencils on a paper using a reference image.

I think they truly knew how to live in harmony with the earth and not abuse it...

Nice drawing and also intersting to see you thoughts concerning native Americans. That they once lived in harmony with nature and the land and many had a nomadic life. As an international human rights student, I once attended the UN indigenous peoples conference in Geneva and was really disappointed that it was so academic and not at all relevant to the real issues and plight suffered by so many indigenous peoples around the world.
