Hey guys! I finally managed to get back to do some painting after a long time today and completed this piece which I had left untouched for about 4 months. It was this digital illustration that I loved so much because of its dreamy effect and I decided to watercolor it. It sort of reminded me of an illustration about hell and heaven and life in between them symbolised by the tree.
Anyway I thought painting the illustration would be a good way of of getting back to watercoloring before I began with my own illustrations. Here are a few shots of the painting.

You are correct @aishwarya! All those windows, the ventilators above the door near the top edge, the grass near the house, flat stairs which never looked 3-dimensional... those little things meant a lot as it was such a carefree time. I feel life has got much more complicated for people today. That innocence has got lost somewhere. We rarely get to see such drawings today. All we see is an influenced life.
