Hello Steemit Community, I am new to Steemit and have neglected for years to explore the interesting things happening in crypto currencies, block-chain, etc...and I am only now coming around to seeing the light. In this post I am asking for any suggestions or hacks that an artist could use to work outside the traditional paths of the gallery system or popular content sharing websites and utilize steemit or other tools to take a completely new and unorthodox approach to distributing artwork and making money as an artist.
Any suggestions or help is much appreciated. Also please post links to your artwork or favorite artist. I am always looking to expand my database of creative freaks.
Thanks,

I would love to start a discussion about how blockchain tek could benefit art.
I believe art institutions will become decentralized!
Steem is already a great help to get a steady income as artist without doing jobs you don't like, writing on steem can be enriching for your craft instead of just taking away time from creating to get money.
At the moment art is not doing that great on steem but as the community grows that will also change.
This is only the beginning.

Good stuff!

very cool
