The first Kurdistan Modern Arts Group Exhibition that showcases work from artists across the greater Kurdistan region and abroad began Sunday morning in Erbil and drew dozens of admirers on the first day.
The exhibition, which is sponsored by the Hawkar Group Kurdish Art & Culture Bridge will run through Wednesday with each following day open to the public from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. free of charge.
The exhibition is taking place at the Media Hall in Erbil.
The art showcased comes from Kurdish artists across the Kurdistan Region, Iraq, Iran and Syria as well as England.
Several of the artists and instructors from art institutes were in attendance for the opening reception.
