CARICATURE

in art •  6 years ago  (edited)
Greetings friends Steemians! Recently I visited a place with a very particular setting based on cartoons, which gave it a modern touch and I liked it a lot. I enjoyed admiring each of them, today I share some of the photographs of their walls.

History

The caricature was born in the sixteenth century, in a school located in Bologna, where students practiced with visitors, gathered characteristics of people with animals and animated objects, from there it spread throughout Rome, popularizing among tourists for a price under the realization of a personal caricature.

The caricature

It comes from the Italian word "caricare" which means to load or exaggerate, the cartoons consist of exaggerating the physical features or characteristics of the people and thus create a recognizable drawing for society, these drawings or cartoons usually have characteristics of a humorous nature.
