Hello Steemians !
Here are my 3 essential tools, website etc i use in parallel of Photoshop to help me be more efficient with my studies. (I keep it short today haha)
Number 1 : Firefox MinVid !
Sorry Safari Users, Chrome users, IE users (if that still exists haha - sorry-), but this is a plugin that tremendously helped me for my studies. It enables you to watch Youtube videos in a thumbnail in any situations. So you don’t have to switch constantly between PS and Youtube to check for the 7th time how insert-artist-name blent that Blue with that Orange. You will have that right under your nose. Plus, you can register playlists. Best plugin ever.
Check it here :

You have to install TestPilot first, as Min Vid is a beta plugin, you can test a few ones and give feedbacks until they put it mainstream (or not).
Number 2 : Pinterest
I talked about it earlier already but for me this is the place to go to find not only good references but also good inspiration and good tutorials and Study materials you can’t find anywhere else. All in one place.
I prefer this platform rather than Google as the results are already chosen by the community and are better quality usually. If must point one cons however, I would say that their last algorythm gives you what you want to see and therefore "emprisons" you in a Bubble, kind of like Google and most websites do nowadays....
It is an essential tool for me and especially for studies but for original art or work I'd use different source material, beginning by my own one ( wandering around taking photos from real life gives you unique references =))
anatomy studies
Number 3 : Artstation
One thing crucial when you want to attain a certain level of quality, is to have an end goal. To have the Vision of where you want to be. For the Art side, Artstation is my goto. From there I usually download or open tabs with very inspiring artist pieces to set a quality level to achieve in my own work.
But you can basically find the same on whatever platform you prefer wether DA or Instagram, it is just that I am more familiar with AS ^^"
That's it for today ! Thank you for your time and reading, i wish you a great great day (or evening)(or morning) !! Cheers and may the Force be with you !
It was a pretty short one, tell me if you like this format, or if you prefer long ones, or what you use as essential tools, or if you disagree you can call "Bll**t !" (But i am waiting for a why so you know ;))
anatomy studies (and tip of the day if you have good eyes)
