OLD CONTENT SHARED IN A NEW WAY- creative commons art

in art •  7 years ago  (edited)

Today I decided to be selfish and ask for more by giving more!
I decided to repost old content, because when I have posted this content, I had less friends here and some of you missed it.

In addition to that, today I post everything under the creative commons license, so you may know by now what that means but I am saying it again for everyone.

Creative Commons License allows everyone to copy, share, print, edit, re-interpret, remix, draw inspiration from and use freely even for commercial purposes, all the content I am posting here (text, image, gif and video) you can repost on steemit or anywhere else

You are not obligated to mention me as the author but if you do post here on steemit and mention me, I will resteem and upvote your post.

Also if you are a video editor and want some content to edit and post here on steemit, you can use mine as a resource and I would definitely reword that, because I would love to see my video in better shape :P

With all that being said I hope my content generates some rewards for other steemians too :P

SO HERE IS MY OLD CONTENT SHARED IN A NEW WAY :p

Also I want to add that this is one of my favorite artworks because it represented a break true in my style, and I think it deserves some more attention

I am usually driven by my curiosity, fascination, need of understanding when I am choosing a theme for a painting.
Through a series of paintings like “feelings”, I try to find a new way of answering my questions. I need to understand my own sensibility and instead of writing down the information I know and leave question marks for what I have yet to discover, I invent a visual abstract language to help me, in a way, see a shape with color, value, qualities and relationships that will still add to the bigger picture.
I give a human face to the feeling because this association helps me understand it better
The generic name ”feelings” was chosen as such because I want the description to be visual rather than linguistic - names, tags, words and question marks are not efficient anymore having been used so often without a complex meaning.
My ultimate interest is having more consciousness and appreciation for all my emotional capacities.

This artwork speaks about the feeling of nostalgia, a pleasant longing for the past.
If feels like a soft shadow of sadness being overcome by joy and gratitude. Blue transparent sadness for the time that has gone and that placed your happiness somewhere in the past. Worm sparkles of gratitude for the experience and the sweet memory that has made you who you are today.
A quiet smile relieves a gasp of air through tired bruised lips, so tired from smiling and laughing, cringing and shouting, arguing and agreeing with the present moment.
Deep lines around the mouth and eyes, from being always observant and reactive to the now, morph into soft petals in a moment of relaxation. A short break from the present in which all the tension disappears and you can visualize a familiar happy place.

thank you so much :) steem on

That's awesome of you. CC work is amazing and opens the possibility of others seeing your art work and gaining inspiration from it.

even more than get inspiration, a writer can make a post more attractive with a good image and gain rewords, there are so many examples how this can be used as it is to generate some value, and even more if someone else adds their input and makes it better

A nice upvote upgrade from your previous post. I love this creative commons thing. Beautiful art x

since I joined I gave free wrights to digital format but did not know there was a legal way to do that :) glad it is

Thanks for the video it's really nice. The painting is very good simple but a real work of art.

thank you, my style is ever evolving but this one was a first step in a new direction and that is why I care so much for it

Wonderfoul!!!!!

thank you :)

Great job. When I was first introduced to painting I loved watercolor. It was so similar to drawing in the way that it works best when worked from light to dark. In the beginning I hated Oil painting for it's opposite nature, but now I have found myself flopped. Working from light to dark seems so strange to me. However this video is making me want to break out some watercolor and play a bit. Keep up the great work. I am now following

I started recently to work with oil, but I have my studio in my apartment kitchen and I had to stop until I move to a bigger place to have a room to be my studio, I love it more than watercolor too , but until than drawing , watercolor and digital painting for me :)

Thanks for the resteem.

I understand the lack of studio space issue. At the moment I am doing all my painting in my bedroom.

It's all fun and games until I forget to open my window and fall under the influence of the turpentine. It is the quickest way i have found to acquire a headache and nausea. On top of that every time I start even the smallest project my room turns into a war zone.

Digital art is fun. Years ago I did a lot of photomanipulation but only did a few digital paintings. I'm about to get more involved in some digital art though. What programs do you like to use for your digital work?

i am such a traditionalist when it comes to painting, and I use only Photoshop on wacom tablet, because it feels the closest to the natural process, I don't use shortcuts or all the technical advantages that the program offers because I am used to my natural process

I'm still using gimp because it is free but i have noticed that some actions take several steps with gimp that would be very simple with photoshop. Do you pay for a subscription or did you just purchase the program?

Im also still getting used to the coordination of drawing on a tablet and it showing up on a screen. Having to hold the tablet completely parallel to the screen is still a bit of a nuisance for me.

I have the cool type of tablet, I draw on the screen directly, I couldn't adapt to the other type :)
I am Romanian we crack things :)))

Lol. I will probably end up going to the same if i really get into it.

I think it is illegal, ohhh no it will be on the blockchain forever :P

very interesting technic and the subject, @alexandravart! voted

your style is so cool, followed back :*

thank you so much!!!))))

Truly inspiring work. Upvoted (and Resteemed for hopefully more people to enjoy)... Thank-you.

This is classic. It can never run out of style or time. What more can i say? I got inspired to say few things about you in my post as a show of appreciation. I hope you find time to check it out.
https://steemit.com/untalented/@olawalium/thank-you-for-being

sorry to come to this so late
lot of love for everything you do

You have no idea how much i appreciate your being and your works, even your words. Thank you. Really appreciate.

Really beautiful artwork, I love your style! Will definitely be checking out more of your art and your process videos. Thanks for sharing!

thank you for appreciating the videos, it takes a bit of effort from me to do them and not necessarily the creative type of effort that I love

Yeah I can understand that. It’s always hard for us painters to want to spend so much time doing things for our art that aren’t actually painting! But without that effort we reach less people so I find it’s usually worth the trouble. Really stunning art, I look forward to seeing more from you!

Pretty cool work man, awesome use of colours!

ha ha , thanks man

I've been playing around with your image here for a couple hours... I'm meshing it with 2 of my paintings. It's taking forever! lol I need to get off my computer for a while. Will come back to it later today or tomorrow. It's looking cool, though!

Worth a second look. Thanks for sharing.

:) thank you
