Ronaldo is said to want to leave Madrid and the club is willing to sell it.
Real Madrid's La Liga giants have no objection to releasing Cristiano Ronaldo and the player himself wants to leave, claimed leading Spanish journalist Guillem Balague.
Ronaldo, 32, is reportedly unhappy with the club's broken promise to give him a new contract, not to mention some time ago it was reported that the Portuguese star was hostile to his teammate.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner is often linked with his return to Manchester United and transfer to Paris Saint-Germain, but Balague believes the Old Trafford camp is a possible destination.
"Ronaldo's message is that he wants to leave, and it seems Real Madrid do not mind to let him go," Balague told Sky Sports News.
"Even so, Real will be happy to see the battle between PSG and Man United, but the situation is more complex than just the player's interest.
"In addition to having to add an annual salary burden of around £ 44 million, Real also asked for £ 89 for Ronaldo's [redemption fee], which is a huge price for a player who will be 33 years old.
"This is a problem for United: the club should not show any lack of interest if Ronaldo is confirmed to be available in the transfer market. But the amount of money to be paid can not be justified. "
In Madrid, Ronaldo is actually still under contract until June 2021.
